Kundalini yoga classes in central London W1

Ed JonesSat nam, my name is Ed Jones and I’m a KYTA-certified kundalini yoga teacher. Combining posture, pranayama (breath work), mantra and meditation, kundalini yoga is a powerful technology for promoting health and well-being. I teach two kundalini yoga classes each week at the Breath of Life clinic, 66 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8AW:

  • Every Wednesday morning 7.00 to 8.15 am
  • Every Thursday evening 7.45 to 9.15 pm

I also teach a two-hour class at the same venue on occasional Saturday mornings (see my booking calendar for the current schedule). These longer classes run from 10.30 am to 12.30, offering the opportunity to explore the transformative effects of kundalini yoga and meditation in greater depth. The weekday classes cost £10 and the extended Saturday class £15.

The Breath of Life clinic is located in London’s West End at the heart of the medical district, an oasis of calm less than five minutes from Oxford Street, Portland Place and Marylebone High Street, and within easy walking distance of four tube stations – Bond Street, Oxford Circus, Regent’s Park and Great Portland Street – and the numerous bus routes that run between Marble Arch and Oxford Circus.

My classes usually follow the traditional kundalini yoga format of warm-ups, a kriya (a set of asanas in a prescribed order, usually designed to influence one or more specific aspects of our physical, emotional and spiritual selves), a period of relaxation and a meditation. Each class is unique, featuring a different combination of these elements.

All my classes are suitable for those who are new to yoga as well as those with experience in kundalini or other kinds of yoga, and everybody is equally welcome. To make a booking, please click here.
